My afternoon at LACMA!

After seven whole years of living in Los Angeles, I hadn't yet explored LACMA! What a crime, I know! Well, I had a free afternoon for once, so I decided to go explore. I was dying to see the Vanity Fair Portraits exhibit, and it definitely didn't dissapoint. The photography and video installations all had me roaming for hours it seemed. And I am now even more of a Annie Leibovitz fan- her work is absolutely stunning! Check it out for your self. The exhibit runs thru March 1st 2009: Click Here to visit the LACMA website

San Diego for the Day

I spent the day today working with my client Charrissa, doing her hair and make-up for a commercial she was filming. She's a super woman when it comes to creating and developing new businesses. I learn so much just by hanging around her! Then it was off to Balboa Park to snap a few photos of her gorgeous family. What a fun day out of LA :-)

Post Madonna Concert Recap

SOOOOOOO, Madonna's "Sticky & Sweet" tour made it to Dodgers Stadium last night, and Stephen and I wouldn't think of missing it. The night started off with about two hours of bumper-to-bumper traffic to Dodgers Stadium- a drive that would normally take about 20 minutes at rush hour. Whew! So, we finally arrived, double fisted a pair of margaritas, and still had plenty of time before the show. Loved seeing Madonna live (nothing to not love, right?). She was missing half of her stage, so we got half the show, BUT we did get a tasting of Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears performing, so that was a fair trade in my opinion. But, my favorite part of the entire evening was an audience member who decided to put on a show all his own. He had a microphone, choreography, and complete costume changes. We had two shows for the price of one. Hilarious!

This man (who clearly thinks he's Madonna) is insane :-)
